The Valley Christian Business Directory is an online directory of Christian owned businesses and professionals in the Rio Grande Valley focusing mainly on Hidalgo county. I believe the purpose is to encourage people to buy from or do business with Christians first. Hopefully the Christians who own businesses or the people in sales listed in this directory tithe to their church. Hopefully these same people give to good missionaries and causes. Hopefully the businesses listed in this directory will strive to operate according to Biblical principles. I like many other Christians have had bad experiences doing business with other Christians and still warn you that all people listed in this directory might not do a good job. Let the buyer beware. If you know of a business listed in this directory which is not owned by a born again Christian or does not abide by good ethical business practices, please contact me.

How to qualify:

If you are a born again Christian and have received Jesus as your Savior, believe in the Deity of Jesus the Christ, the blood atonement, salvation by grace through faith, the death, burial and bodily resurrection of Jesus the Christ, you qualify. However, it would also be good if you attended a doctrinally sound church.  Also abiding by ethical business principles is a must.  It will include born again people who own their own business or some professionals who work in sales, on commission, on a contract basis. It can include home businesses and people who are involved part time in a business in addition to their regular job. It would be similar to the Christian Yellow Pages available in some larger cities. At present, the directory listings will be limited to businesses operating in the Rio Grande Valley and Northern Mexico. Most of the information is regarding businesses in Hidalgo County.
